Associate Degree Testing Requirement

Students finishing associate degree programs must complete a general education competency assessment (ETS Proficiency Profile) during either the last semester or the next-to-last semester prior to graduation. The assessment includes items that measure four core skills areas: critical thinking, writing, reading, and mathematics. Unless otherwise provided for in an individual program, no minimum score or level of achievement is required for graduation. The general education assessment is administered during the fall and spring semesters on all campuses (including Online Learning) to accommodate all graduating students.
