Office Management Assistant

The Office Management Assistant certificate
program is designed to provide educational
opportunities and skills for individuals desiring training
to successfully pursue a career in the
field of office management. Students in the program receive
training in basic office skills such
as accounting, computer technology, interpersonal relations,
and office management. The
program is designed to provide and opportunity for career
advancement above entry-level
positions in the office management field.
Length of Program
A minimum of 42 credit hours is required for graduation.
A full time student can expect to
complete the program in 4-5 quarters.
Employment Opportunities
Graduates are prepared for a position as an Office Management
Assistant in a variety of
business office settings.
ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
Age: Applicant must
be 16 years or older.
Education: A high school
diploma/GED is required.
Program Acceptance/Placement: Applicant
must achieve program ready or provisional
scores on the ASSET placement test (or
submit acceptable SAT/ACT scores.) Applicants
who do not attain the minimum scores
may take refresher/remedial instruction
in order to meet admissions requirements.
