A+ Certified Technician - Technical
Certificate of Credit

The A+ Certified Technician TCC program is
a sequence of courses designed to prepare graduates for employment
as an A+ Certified Technician. The program provides learning
opportunities which introduce, develop, and reinforce academic
and occupational knowledge, skills, and attitudes required
for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. Additionally,
the program provides opportunities to retrain and upgrade
present knowledge and skills. Completion of the program of
study prepares the graduate to sit for certification as an
A+ Certified Technician.
PROGRAM
LENGTH
A minimum of 21 credit hours is required for graduation. A full time student
can expect to complete the program in 1-2 quarters.
EMPLOYMENT
OPPORTUNITIES
A graduate may find employment as
a technician trained in installation, operation,
and maintenance of computers.
ADMISSIONS
REQUIREMENTS
Age: Applicant must
be 16 years or older.
Education: A high school
diploma/GED is required.
Program Acceptance/Placement: Applicant
must achieve program ready or provisional
scores on the ASSET placement test (or
submit acceptable SAT/ACT scores.) Applicants
who do not attain the minimum scores
may take refresher/remedial instruction
in order to meet admissions requirements.
