Technical Certificate of Credit

The Network + TCC program is a sequence of
courses designed to prepare graduates for employment as Local
Area Network Technicians. The program provides learning opportunities
which introduce, develop, and reinforce academic and occupational
knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition,
retention, and advancement. Additionally, the program provides
opportunities to retrain and upgrade present knowledge and
skills. Completion of the program of study leads to a Network
+ technical certificate of credit.
PROGRAM LENGTH
A minimum of 20 credit hours is required for graduation. A full time student
can expect to complete the program in 2 quarters.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
A graduate may find employment as a Local Area Network
Technician or in a related field.
ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
Age: Applicant must
be 16 years or older.
Education: A high school
diploma/GED is required.
Program Acceptance/Placement: Applicant
must achieve program ready or provisional
scores on the ASSET placement test (or
submit acceptable SAT/ACT scores.) Applicants
who do not attain the minimum scores
may take refresher/remedial instruction
in order to meet admissions requirements.
