Program Information

The
Computer Information Systems program is a sequence of courses
designed to prepare a graduate for entry-level employment
as an IT Support Technology Specialist, or Networking
Specialist. The program provides
learning opportunities which introduce , develop, and reinforce
academic and occupational knowledge, skills, and attitudes
required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement.
Additionally, the program provides opportunities to retrain
and upgrade present knowledge and skills. Completion of
the program of study leads to a diploma or Associate's
Degree in Computer Information Systems with a specialization
in IT Support Technology or Networking.
A
graduate of this program may find employment as an
IT Support Techology specialist, Networking specialist, or
in related employment.
