Program Information

The Early Childcare program is a sequence of courses designed to prepare a graduate for entry-level employment as Childcare Providers. The program provides learning opportunities which introduce, develop, and reinforce academic and occupational knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. Additionally, the program provides opportunities to retrain or upgrade present knowledge skills. The Head Start Bureau recognizes that program graduates are qualified as classroom teachers for employment with Head Start and pre-kindergarten programs.
