Criminal Justice Technology - AAS Degree

The Criminal Justice Technology Associate of Applied Science degree program is a sequence of courses designed to prepare graduates to enter the criminal justice profession. The program provides learning opportunities which introduce, develop, and reinforce occupational knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. Additionally, the program provides opportunities to retrain and upgrade present knowledge and skills. Completion of the program of study leads to an Associate of Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice Technology.

Length of Program
A minimum of 98 credit hours is required for graduation. A full time student can expect to complete the program in 8 quarters.

Employment Opportunities
Graduates who are current practitioners will benefit through enhancement of career potential. Entry level persons will be prepared to pursue diverse opportunities in the corrections, security, investigation and police administration fields.
