Digital Media Production Technician

The purpose of the Digital Media Production program is to
provide entry-level training in the emerging fields of digital
media production. The Digital Media TCC is comprised of a
subset of basic courses in the Entertainment Technology degree
program. The Digital Media TCC will be used for short-term
training for industry, government and dual enrollment possibilities.
Length of Program
A minimum of 51 credit hours is required for graduation.
A full time student can expect to
complete the program in 4-5 quarters.
Employment Opportunities
Graduates of the program will have career opportunities
in a variety of digital media industries including commercial
film studios, television, media outlets and news networks,
and other media industries requiring a highly skilled
video and/or post production technician.
Admissions Requirements
Age: Applicant must be 16 years or older.
Education: A high school
diploma/GED is required.
Program Acceptance/Placement: Applicant
must achieve program ready or provisional
scores on the ASSET placement test
(or submit acceptable SAT/ACT score).
Applicants
who do not attain the minimum scores
may take refresher/remedial instruction
in order to meet admissions requirements.
