The Advanced Architectural Drafting
Specialist TCC program is designed to prepare students for
entry level
employment in the architectural drafting field. The program
provides learning opportunities that
introduce, develop, and reinforce academic and technical
knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for
job acquisition, retention, and advancement. Additionally,
the program provides opportunities to
upgrade present knowledge and skills or to retrain in architectural
drafting. Candidates should
complete the diploma program or possess at least three years
of appropriate work experience and
have instructor permission.
Length of Program
A minimum of 35 credit hours is required for graduation.
A full time student can expect to graduate in
3 quarters.
Employment Opportunities
A graduate may find employment as an Architectural drafter
or in a related employment field.
