AutoCAD Operator - Technical Certificate
of Credit

The AutoCAD Operator TCC program is designed for those participants
who choose not to pursue the full diploma in Drafting. It
consists of a sequence of courses that prepares the graduate
for entry-level employment as an AutoCAD Operator. The program
provides learning opportunities which introduce, develop,
and reinforce occupational knowledge, skills, and attitudes
required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement.
Additionally, the program provides opportunities to retrain
and upgrade present knowledge and skills. Completion of the
program of study leads to a certificate as an AutoCAD Operator.
Length of Program
A minimum of 46 credit hours is required for graduation. A full time student
can expect to complete the program in 3 - 4 quarters.
Employment Opportunities
A graduate may find employment as an AutoCAD Operator or in related employment.
Admissions Requirements
Age: Applicant must be
16 years or older.
Education: A high school
diploma/GED is required.
Program Acceptance/Placement: Applicant
must achieve program ready or provisional
scores on the ASSET placement test (or
submit acceptable SAT/ ACT scores). Applicants
who do not attain the minimum scores
may take refresher/remedial instruction
in order to meet admissions requirements.
