Electronics Fundamentals -
Diploma

The Electronics Fundamentals diploma program
is sequence of courses designed to prepare graduates for
entry-level employment in electronics. The program provides
learning opportunities which introduce, develop, and reinforce
academic and occupational knowledge, skills, and attitudes
required for job acquisition, retention and advancement.
Additionally, the program provides opportunities to upgrade
present knowledge and skills. Completion of the program of
study leads to a diploma in Electronics Fundamentals.
Length of Program
A minimum of 65 credit hours is required for graduation. A full time student
can expect to complete the program
in 4 - 6 quarters.
Employment Opportunities
A graduate may find employment in a entry-level position in the electronics field
or in related fields.
Admissions Requirements
Age: Applicant must be 16
years or older.
Education: A high school
diploma/GED is required.
Program Acceptance/Placement: Applicant
must achieve program ready or provisional
scores on the ASSET placement test (or
submit acceptable SAT/ACT scores). Applicants
who do not attain the minimum scores may
take refresher/remedial instruction in
order to meet admissions requirements.
