Program Information
The Industrial Maintenance program is a sequence
of courses designed to prepare a graduate for entry-level
employment in the electrical and mechanical maintenance field.
The program provides learning opportunities which introduce,
develop, and reinforce academic and occupational knowledge,
skills, and attitudes required for acquisition, retention,
and advancement. Additionally, the program provides opportunities
to retrain and upgrade present knowledge and skills. Completion
of the program of study leads to a diploma in Electrical
Control Systems or Mechanical Control Systems.
A graduate may find employment as an industrial electrician,
industrial control technician, industrial mechanic, mechanical
control technician, or in related employment.
