Basic Printing Assistant -

The Basic Printing Assistant Technical Certificate of Credit
program is designed for those participants who wish to obtain
basic printing skills. It consists of sequence of courses
that prepares a graduate for entrylevel employment in the
area of printing. The program provides learning opportunities
which introduce, develop, and reinforce occupational knowledge,
skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention,
and advancement. Additionally, the program provides opportunities
to retrain and upgrade present knowledge and skills. Completion
of the program of study leads to a certificate as a basic
printing assistant.
Length of Program
A minimum of 20 credit hours is required for graduation. A full time student
can expect to complete the program in 2-3 quarters.
Employment Opportunities
A graduate may find employment as a basic printing assistant or in related employment.
Admissions Requirements
Age: Applicant must be 16
years or older.
Education: A high school
diploma/GED is not required.
Program Acceptance/Placement: Admissions
testing is not required for entrance into
this certificate program.
