Program Information

The Practical Nursing Diploma program is a
sequence of courses designed to prepare graduates for entry-level
employment as a practical nurse. The program provides learning
opportunities which introduce, develop academic and professional
knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention,
and advancement. Additionally, the program provides opportunities
to retrain and upgrade present knowledge and skills. Completion
of this program of study leads to a diploma in Practical
Nursing. Program graduates are eligible to sit for the State
Board licensure examination.
A graduate may find employment as a practical
nurse or in related employment.
