Sports and Fitness Management

Associate of Applied Science Degree

The Sports and Fitness Management associate of applied science
degree is designed to prepare students for entry level positions
in the business of sport and fitness, such as sport promotions,
personal training, corporate wellness, health promotions
and sports club management. This program provides a sound
foundation for those students who plan to pursue careers
in fields related to sports medicine, exercise physiology,
physical therapy, and athletic training. Sports and Fitness
Management graduates are eligible to obtain certification
from a variety of certifying bodies, including the American
Council on Exercise (ACE) and the American College of Sports
Medicine (ACSM).
