Combination Production Welder -
Technical Certificate of Credit

The Combination Production Welder TCC program is designed
for those participants who choose not to pursue the full
diploma program in Welding & Joining Technology. It consists
of a sequence of courses that prepares graduates for employment
as combination production welders. The program provides learning
opportunities which introduce, develop, and reinforce occupational
knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition,
retention, and advancement. Additionally, the program provides
opportunities to retrain and upgrade present knowledge and
skills. Completion of the program of study leads to a certificate
as a Combination Production Welder.
Length of Program
A minimum of 19 credit hours is required for graduation. A full time student
can expect to complete the program in 1 - 2 quarters.
Employment Opportunities
A graduate may find employment in production welding or in
related employment.
Admissions Requirements
Age: Applicant must be 16 years or older.
Education: A high school diploma/GED is not required.
Program Acceptance/Placement: Admission testing is not
required for entrance in to this certificate program.
