Annual Art Exhibit Submission Guidelines

2016 Art Exhibit Submission Guidelines

West Georgia Technical College will hold a Traveling Art Exhibit displaying Showcase and Merit winning artworks beginning in March. The Exhibit will highlight creative individuals and their work that are part of our college community. We are soliciting submissions for the Exhibit from the following:

  • Current students of WGTC
  • Recent graduates of WGTC (2014 to present)
  • Current staff and faculty members of WGTC
  • Retired staff and faculty members of WGTC
  • Members of WGTC's various boards and advisory committees

Submissions must be the creative work solely of the submitter; we will not accept submissions made on behalf of anyone who does not fall into one of the categories above.  All works submitted must be display ready. Pastels or charcoals must have a sealant applied and photos must be matted or framed for display. There is a limit of two works per artist. All works submitted according to the guidelines outlined here are eligible to have their work considered for inclusion in the Art Exhibit.

Submission does not guarantee display; due to space limitations we may not be able to physically display every submission.  All submissions that are accepted will be displayed electronically via plasma screen televisions on each respective campus.

All correctly submitted artwork from current students (2015-2016) are eligible for cash awards.

We will accept submissions starting Summer Semester 2015 and close the submission process February 6, 2016.  A photo of each individual artwork must be accompanied by a submission form. Artwork without submission forms will not be accepted for consideration.  The online submission form is preferred; complete the information and submit along with a photo of your artwork. A separate submission form is required for each artwork. Please submit your art as photo files on CD or email as an attachment to If you have questions regarding submissions, contact Annie Pool at the email listed for submissions.
