State of the Art Facilities
The unique shape of the building, texture of the wall coverings,
color scheme and even the equipment selected for the playground
area have been designed to be used as educational experiences for
the children. Children must interact with the environment that
surrounds them through an emphasis on the development of a child's
creative, communicative, interpersonal and social skills, as well
as the traditional educational skills. In addition, the Center
serves as a learning laboratory for adult students enrolled in
instructional training programs.
Teach Them When They're Ready
to Learn
The Center for Child Development joins the other West Georgia
Tech facilities on the information superhighway. Computers are
used in instruction in order to prepare the children for the rapidly
expanding information age. Multimedia equipment is introduced at
the youngest age to encourage educational exploration.
