Meeting Place

The West Georgia Technical College Callaway Center for International Business Development, located just 60 miles southwest of Atlanta’s Hartsfield Airport (just off Interstate 85), provides a convenient yet peaceful meeting setting.  The Callaway Center is comprised of 30,000 square feet of conference, library and telecommunications space.  The facility is designed for video and traditional conferences, seminars, workshops, receptions, trade shows and public forums.  The 7,700 square feet auditorium can seat more than 800 people theatre-style or over 400 banquet-style. It can be divided into four smaller seminar rooms.

Our conference sales staff can plan your event from room rental and set-up to catering services.  Staging is available in a variety of sizes and heights with full handicap accessibility.  Additional services are provided including audio/visual equipment, flip charts, and material production and duplication.  Phones, facsimile machines and computer ports can establish the business person’s office right on campus.

Capacities listed are “comfortable” and do not include stage, head table, A/V equipment, dance floor or additional equipment/furniture.  Banquet rounds are based on ten (10) chairs per table.

Conferencing services are available Monday through Friday. Weekends are available by special arrangement.

Full day rate is 9 hours or less; half day rate is 4 hours or less.  Half-day hours are between 8:00 a.m. - 12 noon and 1:00 p.m. – 5 p.m.   Nonprofit 501 (c) (3) and government organizations will be given a 15% discount on rental charges.

After hour rates will be considered full day rates. Other charges may apply.

A portable, adjustable height stage is available with wheelchair lift.  There are eight 6’ x 8’ sections which adjust from 24” to 36” height.  The stage has stairs with rails and a skirt available at no additional charge.
