Trigonometry Study Guide

Trigonometry deals with the solution of triangles which means we will use given angles and sides to find the missing angles and sides. In our study of trigonometry we will classify triangles as either those with a right angle called right triangles or those without a right angle called oblique triangles. They are solved differently. In right triangle trig we will use the sin, cos, tan, csc, sec, and cot functions to solve the triangles. In oblique triangle trig we will use the Law of Sines and the Law of Cosines to solve the triangles.
