Program
Description
The Office Accounting TCC program is designed
for those participants who choose not to
pursue the full diploma/degree program
in Accounting. It consists of a sequence
of courses that prepares graduates for
entry-level employment as accounting clerks
or bookkeepers. The program provides learning
opportunities which introduce, develop,
and reinforce occupational knowledge, skills,
and attitudes required for job acquisition,
retention, and advancement. Additionally,
the program provides opportunities to retrain
and upgrade present knowledge and skills.
Completion of the program of study leads
to a certificate in Office Accounting. Length of Program
A minimum of 18 credit hours is required for
graduation. A full time student can expect
to complete the program in 1- 2 quarters.
Employment
Opportunities
A graduate may find employment as an accounting
clerk, bookkeeper, or in related employment.
