Criminal Justice Records Technician TCC
 


Program Description

The Criminal Justice Records Technician TCC program is designed for those participants who choose not to pursue the full diploma or degree program in Criminal Justice Technology. The certificate prepares a graduate for entry-level employment in the administrative aspects of criminal justice. The program provides learning opportunities which introduce, develop, and reinforce occupational knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. Additionally, the program provides opportunities to retrain and upgrade present knowledge and skills. Completion of the program of study leads to a Criminal Justice Records Technician certificate.

Length of Program
A minimum of 28 credit hours is required for graduation. A full time student can expect to complete the program in 2-3 quarters.

Employment Opportunities
A graduate may find employment as a record technician, data entry specialist, data analyst, or may pursue opportunities in criminal justice professions.
