Program Information
The Criminal Justice Technology program is
a sequence of courses designed to prepare a graduates to
enter the criminal justice profession. The program provides
learning opportunities which introduce, develop, and reinforce
academic and occupational knowledge, skills, and attitudes
required for acquisition, retention, and advancement. Additionally,
the program provides opportunities to retrain and upgrade
present knowledge and skills. Completion of the program of
study leads to an associate's degree or diploma in Criminal
Justice Technology.
Graduates who are current practitioners will benefit through enhancement of career
potential. Entry-level persons will be prepared to pursue diverse opportunities
in the corrections, security, investigation, and police administration fields.
