Program
Description
The Electronics Technology Associate of Applied
Science degree program is a sequence of courses
designed to prepare graduates for entry-level
employment in a variety of electronics professions.
The program provides learning opportunities
which introduce, develop, and reinforce academic
and occupational knowledge, skills, and attitudes
required for job acquisition, retention and
advancement. Additionally, the program provides
opportunities to retrain and upgrade present
knowledge and skills. Completion of the program
of study leads to an Associate of Applied Science
degree in Electronics Technology with a specialization
in industrial electronics.
Length of Program
A minimum of 102 credit hours is required for
graduation. A full time student can expect
to complete the program in 7 - 8 quarters.
Employment
Opportunities
A graduate may find employment as an electrical
technician, soldering technician, assembler,
or in related employment.
