Program
Description
The objective of the Public Safety certificate
is to teach the skills required to work in
entry-level positions in the Fire Science and
Criminal Justice fields. Students will benefit
from having completed college courses specifically
covering public safety when being interviewed
for such positions in the fire science and
law enforcement field. Additionally, having
completed this course work might qualify the
student for educational incentives once the
student begins employment.
Length of Program
A minimum of 26 credit hours is required for
graduation. A full time student can expect
to complete the program in 2-3 quarters.
