Tutoring

The tutoring lab is located in the Student Success Center next to Building C on the main campus. Our tutors have more than 40 years of classroom experience and are committed to assisting WGTC students with English, math, reading, and basic computer skills. Tutoring services are available free of charge.

Students are welcome to visit the Student Success Center for assistance in their coursework or Asset preparation sessions. The tutors are experienced in helping students who might need that extra bit of help understanding the material being presented in the classroom. A wide variety of instructional equipment and materials are available to those students who need help in these classes.

Hundreds of West Georgia Technical College students have already taken advantage of this tutor service and most of them have shown marked improvement in their performance in the classroom. All students are encouraged to utilize this free service in order to maximize their educational experience and to enhance their marketable job skills.

Tutors are available at various times during the week. Current schedules are posted around campus and at the Student Success Center. More information about our tutors and their availability can be found below.
