Certified Quality Auditor - Technical
Certificate of Credit

The Certified Quality Auditor is designed to provide the
student with the necessary knowledge to sit for the ASQC
certification examination. Students completing the Certified
Quality Auditor Certificate will understand the standards
and principles of auditing and the auditing techniques of
examining, questioning, evaluating, and reporting to determine
a quality system’s adequacy and deficiencies. The Certified
Quality Auditor analyzes all elements of a quality system
and judges in degree of adherence to the criteria of industrial
management and quality evaluation and control systems.
Length of Program
A minimum of 21 credit hours is required for graduation.
A full time student can expect to complete the program
in 2-3 quarters.
Employment Opportunities
A graduate may find employment as a quality auditor in
an industrial or manufacturing setting.
ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
Age: Applicant must be 16 years or older.
Education: A high school diploma/GED is required.
Program Acceptance/Placement: Applicant must achieve program
ready or provisional scores on the ASSET placement test
(or submit acceptable SAT/ACT scores.) Applicants who do
not attain the minimum scores may take refresher/remedial
instruction in order to meet admissions requirements.
