Program
Description
The Medical Coding TCC program provides is
a sequence of courses designed to prepare
graduates for employment in the medical field.
The program provides learning opportunities
which introduce, develop, and reinforce occupational
knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for
job acquisition, retention, and advancement.
Additionally, the program provides opportunities
to
retrain and upgrade present knowledge and skills.
Completion of the program of study leads to
a certificate in Medical Coding.
Length of Program
A minimum of 35 credit hours is required for
graduation. A full time student can expect
to
complete the program in 3-4 quarters.
Employment
Opportunities
A graduate of this program will be qualified
for a position in a medical office.
