Are you looking for a career in Medical Assisting?

Medical AssistingThe Medical Assisting program prepares students for employment in a variety of positions in today's medical offices.

The Medical Assisting program provides learning opportunities which introduce, develop, and reinforce academic and occupational knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement.

Program graduates receive a Diploma in Medical Assisting and are eligible to sit for a national certification examination for Medical Assistants.

NOTE: Change in Competitive Selection Deadlines

The annual Level 1 deadline is May 21st for the Murphy Campus and August 15th for the LaGrange Campus

NOTE: Change in Competitive Selection Courses

The student must complete the following courses with a minimum grade of C - ALHS 1011, ALHS 1040, ALHS 1090, ENGL 1010, and MATH 1012.
