The Welding and Joining Technology program is a sequence of courses designed
to prepare a graduate for entry-level employment
in welding and joining.
The program provides learning opportunities which introduce, develop, and reinforce academic and occupational knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention and advancement. Additionally, the program provides opportunities to retrain and upgrade present knowledge and skills.
Completion of the program of study leads to a diploma in Welding and Joining Technology. Program graduates are eligible to take American Welding Society (AWS) certification examinations.
