All Health Services students wishing to enroll at West Georgia Technical College are required to take one of the above “entrance” exams as part of the competitive selection process. Please check with your advisors on which exam you must take. Information on testing procedures and schedules can be found on the links provided. The Microsoft Office Specialist program is a training and certification program that verifies your knowledge of desktop computer skills using Microsoft Office applications. This program will prepare you to test for Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook, at both the Core and Expert levels.
The certificate program also gives you a competitive edge in the job market. About 95 percent of the Fortune 500 companies and professions in your area require knowledge of and the use of many of the Microsoft Office products.
