West Georgia Technical College offers a comprehensive
program of financial aid for students who, without such aid, would
be unable to continue their education. Through this financial aid
program, eligible students can receive one or more types of financial
aid. Financial Aid is generally in the form of grants, scholarships,
and/or a work-study program.
Most financial aid at West Georgia Technical College is awarded
on the basis of a student's academic progress and proven financial "need." Financial
need is defined as the difference between a family's resources
and the total expenses of attending the College. West Georgia Technical
College uses the Free Application for Federal Student Aid to measure
a family's financial strength.
