The
Meriwether County Workforce Development Center is strategically located
to provide quality education and training opportunities to the citizens
of Meriwether County. The Center is in Greenville, Georgia, across
from Greenville High School.
A variety of programs are offered to satisfy the needs of a diverse
population and provide lifelong learning opportunities to all citizens.
Credit programs include Technical
Certificates of Credit and general education courses.
Adult learners interested in furthering their education can attend
classes to obtain a GED.
Classes in both credit and non-credit training are accessible
days and evenings.
Successful programs offered at the Center currently include Commercial
Driver’s License, Welding, Basic Computer Training, Accounting,
Reading and English.
Winter course offerings will include segments of the Automotive
Assembly Technician certificate, Machine Tool Technology, and Patient
Care Assisting plus expanded core course offerings.
