West Georgia Technical College purchased the former Raytheon Systems building in 2006. The building will become the new West Campus of WGTC, and is 243,000 SF and located on 81 acres.

A design for the building is being completed and remodeling will begin soon. Most of the college's educational programs, student services, administrative services and the library will be relocated to the new building.

The LaGrange City Council renamed the portion of Wiley Road extending from the new West Campus as College Circle.

The West Campus is located at 1302 Orchard Hill Road.
