Commercial Truck Driving Refresher Course
The 40-hour Commercial Truck Driving Course is de- signed for individuals who currently hold a
valid Class A CDL license. Participants will experience training on our driving range and on the
road to enhance their skills. Topics included in this class are Safety, Pre-Trip Inspection,
Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration compliance updates and Driving Techniques and Skills.
If you have been out of work or haven’t driven in the last 2 years, this class will help you get
back in the driver seat. Come and sharpen your skills to be a CDL driver.
You must have held a CDL license in the past.
Commercial Truck Drivers License
The CDL Test is a two-hour test required for those seeking their CDL. The test is available

Commercial Driver’s License Refresher – Review
This course is intended for displaced CDL drivers, those returning to work from retirement, and
those who have not driven in 2 years and need to sharpen their skills. It is designed to refresh
the experienced CDL driver who has been out of the trade for a period of time including those who
have not driven since acquiring their CDL.
Pre-Trip Inspection, Backing Maneuvers and Road Instruction. Additionally the training can be
tailored to the needs of the student with specific areas of instruction selected.
Pre-Trip Inspection-Vehicle Definitions, Air Brake System, Tires and tire care, Engine & Trailer Fundamentals, etc.
Backing Maneuvers-Driver/Vehicle Safety, Preparing to
drive (mirrors, seat, etc). Backing basics and advanced, Straight line, left & right offset, blind
& driver side parallels, and 90 degree backing maneuvers, coupling and uncoupling procedures.
Road Instruction-Safe vehicle operation on the road, shifting basics, patterns, and advanced, speed
control and stopping, distance and lane management, city, rural
and interstate driving.
Certified Oversized/Overweight Load Escort Vehicle Operator
Escort car services benefit all parties involved in the transportation of over-dimensional loads:
the manufacturers themselves, the trucking companies transporting the load, the general motoring
public, and all other drivers and pedestrians on our highways.
Commercial Driver’s License Preparation Course and Test
The CDL Preparation Course is to prepare a person needing to brush up for the CDL test. The
individual must have a valid “Learners Permit” before taking the preparation course. This course
may take up to (8 Hours) to complete. One test is included in the price.
Transit Coach Operator (Bus Driving)
(16 DAYS – 120 HOURS)
Program objectives are to provide educational training services that meet Transit Operator’s
training needs in compliance with DOT, ADA and OSHA standards.
