WGTC Launches Free Three-Day GED Accelerated Academy for Adults

Douglas CampusDOUGLASVILLE, GA – West Georgia Technical College (WGTC) is launching a fast-track opportunity for adults to earn their GED in just three days—completely free of charge. The Accelerated Academy will run from November 20–22, 2025 and includes free instruction, study materials, practice tests, GED testing, and even breakfast and lunch.

“The Accelerated Academy is all about making education accessible and achievable,” said Rebecca Wheeler, Dean of Adult Education at WGTC. “In three days, adults can earn their GED and take a big step toward new opportunities.”

The registration deadline has been extended to October 27, 2025, and enrollment is capped at 20. Participants must be age 18 or older and possess a government-issued form of identification.
