Some FAFSA applications are selected for review by the U.S. Department of Education for a process called verification. Under verification requirements, West Georgia Technical College is required to collect tax transcripts, documentation of household size and number in college to validate the accuracy of the information reported on the FAFSA. It is the policy of the Office of Financial Aid at West Georgia Technical College to verify all Student Aid Reports (SAR or ISIR) selected by ED prior to awarding financial aid. If chosen for verification, you must submit all requested documents before your financial aid file is considered complete.
Students selected for verification will receive an email notification instructing them to create an account in Campus Logic and complete a verification worksheet, upload tax transcripts and other requested documents.
