Spring Semester Orientation
Welcome to West Georgia Technical College’s Spring New Student Orientation! Our goal is to help you get your college career off to a great start.
New students and students who have not attended West Georgia Technical College for more than two academic years are required to complete New Student Orientation. The orientation program is designed to provide you with guidance related to WGTC departments and processes, deliver course registration assistance and distribute resource information. The orientation team, along with all WGTC faculty and staff, is dedicated to helping you successfully navigate your educational journey.
To meet the needs of all WGTC students, we offer several options to complete New Student Orientation. Those options include:
- In-person at the Murphy (Waco) and LaGrange Campuses
- Self-paced online orientation
- Live virtual orientation via WebEx
Note: The live virtual orientation sessions will be hosted using WebEx. The WebEx Application can be downloaded by scanning the QR Code below.
Registration for the Spring 2023 New Student Orientation is now closed. Admitted students needing to register for Spring Semester courses may complete the Online Self-Paced Orientation. The Online Self-Paced Orientation will be available beginning Wednesday, December 7, 2022. It will close at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. Registration for orientation closes three days prior to the date of the orientation session to allow staff time to prepare for the session and communicate all needed information to registered students.
