Homeschool Graduate
Georgia Homeschool Graduates:
Applicants who have graduated from a non-regionally accredited homeschool program in the state of Georgia should complete these steps for admission:
- Apply and pay the $25 non-refundable application fee with our Online Application.
- Submit home school documentation.
- Submit a certificate of attendance form from the local superintendent’s office or a Declaration of Intent form from the Georgia Department of Education.
- Submit annual progress reports or a final transcript for the equivalent of the student’s junior and senior years. The report should include the graduation date.f
- Take the Accuplacer placement test, or submit official results of the Accuplacer, Compass, ACT or SAT tests.
- Provide verification of lawful presence and documentation of residency to qualify for in-state tuition.
Homeschool Graduates from Other States:
Applicants who have graduated from a non-regionally accredited homeschool program outside the state of Georgia should complete these steps for admission:
- Apply and pay the $25 non-refundable application fee with our Online Application.
- Submit annual progress reports or a final transcript for the equivalent of the student’s junior and senior years. The report should include the graduation date.
- Take the Accuplacer placement test, or submit official results of the Accuplacer, Compass, ACT or SAT tests that meet the college’s minimum requirements.
- Provide verification of lawful presence and documentation of residency to qualify for in-state tuition.
Helpful Hints:
- The above enrollment steps are for homeschool graduates who have not yet attended a college or university. If you are a homeschool graduate and have taken college classes, follow the transfer applicant instructions, substituting your homeschool documentation for the high school transcript requirement.
- Students currently in a homeschool program who wish to take college courses for dual enrollment may be able to do so through our Dual Enrollment program.
