West Georgia Technical College FBLA Collegiate Members Excel at State Conference, Advance to Nationals

FBLA MembersCARROLLTON, GA – West Georgia Technical College (, held March 27–29, 2026, in Atlanta.

The annual conference brought together top-performing students from across the state for two days of competitive events, leadership development and networking opportunities. WGTC students distinguished themselves through exceptional performance, professionalism and dedication, showcasing both individual talent and the strength of the college’s academic programs.

WGTC students earned five first-place finishes, one third-place award and two fourth-place honors. Notably, all participating students qualified for the National Leadership Conference, scheduled for June 6–9, 2026, in Las Vegas.

In addition to their competitive success, the chapter earned several prestigious honors, including the Gold Chapter Award, which recognizes excellence in leadership, community service, professional development and member engagement. The chapter was also recognized for its contributions to Alzheimer’s awareness and received the FBLA Foundation Award for Most Money Raised, highlighting its outstanding fundraising efforts and community impact.

WGTC is also proud to recognize three students who received the distinguished Wings of Excellence Award—Amelia Phillips, Caleb Pierson and Dalten Dyer—for demonstrating exceptional leadership, academic achievement and active involvement in FBLA.

“These accomplishments are a testament to the hard work, preparation and resilience of our students,” said Marschell Davidson, Accounting Program Director and FBLA adviser. “We are extremely proud of how they represented WGTC, and we look forward to seeing them continue to excel at the national level this summer.”
