WGTC Students Advance to National FBLA Leadership Conference After Strong Statewide Performance
CARROLLTON, GA – West Georgia Technical College’s (WGTC) Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Collegiate chapter excelled at the recent Georgia FBLA Collegiate State Leadership Conference in Atlanta, showcasing their knowledge, professionalism, and leadership potential.
During the conference, students competed in a range of business-related events, networked with peers from other technical colleges across the state, and attended leadership seminars focused on topics such as team building, professional etiquette, and personal finance.
Kristy Bishop of Lithia Springs, Dalten Dyer of Carrollton, Robert Galan of Carrollton, Issachar Joseph of Douglasville, Taylor Lowery of Winston, Calieb Pierson of Villa Rica, Amelia Phillips of Greenville, Christian Putman of Villa Rica, and Cherilyn Rodriguez of Carrollton represented WGTC at the conference. All nine students earned the opportunity to advance to the FBLA Collegiate National Leadership Conference, which will be held this June in Dallas, Texas.
“I am extremely proud of the students for their outstanding effort and commitment to the competition,” said WGTC FBLA advisor Tammy Frost. “As an advisor, I take great pride in their accomplishments and am sincerely grateful for the college’s continued support of FBLA, which provides students with invaluable opportunities for personal and professional development.”
