Dual Enrolled students:

Visit  www.gafutures.org to complete your Dual Enrollment Funding Application. Make sure to list West Georgia Technical College as your college.

Directions for completing the GAfutures Dual Enrollment Funding application:

Accelerated Career Pathway students:

Visit www.gafutures.org to complete the GSFAPPS to apply for ACE Grant funds. Accelerated Career students do NOT need to complete the Dual Enrollment Funding Application, only the GSFAPPS.

High School Coordinators schedule times on your high school campus for registration, so make plans to meet with them when they are on your high school campus.

If you attend CCI or CEC, the high school counselors will assist you with registration and provide that information to the college.

From WGTC website homepage, select MyWGTC, then MyWGTC Portal, then click the Knighthawk Navigator tile, select the Class Schedule tile.

Ensure you know the day your classes begin and the location / times for your courses. If changes are needed to your schedule, contact your WGTC High School Coordinator.

You will receive an email providing you the dates for the MANDATORY Dual Enrollment Orientation. These are held each semester for new dual enrolled students. The Dual Enrollment Department hosts our own orientation for Dual Enrolled students. Dual students should NOT attend the WGTC adult new student orientation sessions.

Textbooks are provided for students receiving Dual Enrollment Funding and ACE Grant Funding. Please check your course Syllabus to see what type of textbooks are needed.

Many academic core classes will have the textbooks provided electronically, so no physical book is needed. Other courses may use a Textbook code. If your courses require a Cengage code, your instructor will provide that to you.

If you do need a physical textbook for your class, you should visit the WGTC Bookstore at the campus closest to you to pick up your books. Identify yourself as a dual enrolled student and the books will be provided to you free of charge. DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR TEXTBOOKS. Check with the Dual Enrollment staff before you make any textbook purchases, as Dual Enrollment Funding covers textbooks in most cases.
