Summer Semester Orientation

Welcome to West Georgia Technical College’s Summer New Student Orientation! Our goal is to help you get your college career off to a great start.

New students and students who have not attended West Georgia Technical College for more than two academic years are required to complete New Student Orientation. The orientation program is designed to provide you with guidance related to WGTC departments and processes, deliver course registration assistance and distribute resource information. The orientation team, along with all WGTC faculty and staff, is dedicated to helping you successfully navigate your educational journey.

To meet the needs of all WGTC students, we offer several options to complete New Student Orientation. Those options include:

• In-person at the Coweta, Douglas, Murphy (Waco), and LaGrange Campuses
• Live virtual orientation via WebEx. Live Virtual Orientation will be held May 15. Registration for this session will be available May 6 - 12.
