Admissions Requirements

General Admission Requirements

Age:

Individuals 16 years of age or older or dual/jointly enrolled high schools students in the 10th, 11th or 12th grade are eligible for admission.

 

Education:

A high school diploma or high school equivalent is required for admission to all programs at West Georgia Technical College, with the exception of the Commercial Truck Driving program.

Admission to West Georgia Technical College is a multi-step process which consists of evaluation of prior academic experience and assessment for post-secondary readiness of eligible applicants. Students are admitted on a first-to-qualify/space available basis, except for Health Sciences and Nursing programs.
