Our quality training program offers courses that will teach you chair-side assisting and help you gain hands-on experience.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Dental Assisting Certificate program is to provide instruction in dental theory, infection control, and clinical experiences for Coweta and Douglas county high school students and adult students. Graduates of the Dental Assisting program are prepared for employment as dental assistants in general and specialty dental offices and are eligible to sit for the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) National Entry Level Dental Assistant (NELDA) exam. Graduates can also obtain their Expanded Functions Certificate once meeting the requirements.

*NOTE: Students are required to follow all medical clearance policies designated by the clinical and/or practicum sites, which may include mandatory vaccinations for COVID-19, influenza, hepatitis B, MMR, Tdap, and Varicella.
